Location Description Veterans Memorial Park. Marker is 0.1 mi. S of intersection of Quintana St. and City Park Rd, near Freeport Harbor Channel. Bronze plaque on pink granite block. Placed by the Board of Control. One of 22 monuments appropriated by the Forty-Second Legislature, May 18, 1931, "Appropriation to move remains of Texas Heroes."
