Ewing House

Marker Text

Originated as a log cabin, built 1852 by Robert Glass. Later extended to 10 rooms; is called "House of Seven Gables," or old home of Mrs. Sallie Ewing, purchaser in 1882. Log cabin is now the living room. Two fireplaces are of old, handmade brick. Recorded Texas Historic Landmark - 1967
