Built in 1896. Only early school building still standing. Bought 1910 by Benjamin Lodge No. 976, A.F. & A.M., and moved to this site. Lower floor serves as community center, meeting place for Sorosis Club, organized here in 1924. (1966)

Location Description Wichita Brazos Museum and Cultural Center, on exhibit inside the building. NE corner Hayes St (US 82) and N. Bedford St. School at US 82 and S. Church St. and was razed.
